Burkinabe Staff during training in Fargo

Burkina Faso, located in northwest Africa, has been working closely with WMI to establish a rainfall stimulation cloud seeding program. A Beech King Air 200 has been fully equipped for this purpose by WMI. Burkinabe staff have come to Fargo for training, and WMI personnel have travelled to Ouagadougou in this ongoing technology transfer program. A second round of training is tentatively planned to take place in the next few months.
The Burkinabe program also has a WMI-guided surface-based cloud seeding component that uses ground-based releases of seeding agent.
