Project Status:
Operational

Background

The first season of the program was in 2003. It was used as a test to refine the client’s wants and needs so that they can design a 3-5 year program to follow. Idaho Power Company (IPCO) is hoping to get more snow in the target mountain range area, which when it melts will fill several dams NW of Boise. These dams provide hydroelectric power for IPCO. WMI’s aircraft was used to supplement several ground generators (previously purchased from WMI).
